As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment at a busy logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, conducting routine patrols, and remaining visible to provide support and reassurance to employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Control access to the location by verifying credentials of individuals entering and/or exiting the premises.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and potential security-related incidents.
• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and responding to inquiries.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by site protocols.
• Support emergency response activities as appropriate and directed by Allied Universal and site leadership.
• Follow site-specific policies and procedures to help maintain a security-related presence throughout the logistics and distribution environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
