Rockwell Security is hiring Unarmed Security Officers across the Kansas City Metro — and we're looking for focused, dependable professionals who take pride in their work.
This is not a sit-around-and-scroll kind of job. This is for people who want to move with purpose, protect what matters, and earn respect doing it.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Patrol client properties on foot and by vehicle
- Monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards
- Respond quickly and professionally to alarms, incidents, and emergencies
- Enforce access control, check IDs, and ensure only authorized individuals enter
- Monitor security camera systems
- Write clear, detailed reports after each shift or incident
- Provide friendly, professional service to clients, visitors, and vendors
- Serve as the calm, capable presence during unexpected situations
Requirements (No Exceptions):
- Must pass a drug test — including marijuana
- Must be able to stay off your personal phone during your shift
- Valid driver's license or State ID, with a clean driving record for sites with vehicles.
- High school diploma or GED
- Must pass a background check
- Reliable, punctual, and ready to work full-time evenings or overnights
