New Business Account Executive

Avenue Z is on the lookout for a dynamic Media Sales Account Executive to join our Miami office. This role offers an unparalleled opportunity to learn directly from our company founders and to play a pivotal role in expanding our clientele. The ideal candidate will be action oriented and aggressive at the prospect of introducing future clients to our performance marketing approach at Avenue Z.
Primary Responsibilities
- Actively prospect and set meetings with potential clients.
- Achieve quarterly meeting and revenue targets as outlined in the sales strategy.
- Research and pinpoint new market opportunities and potential clients.
- Utilize an existing network of ideal companies/contacts to foster new business leads.
- Collaborate with team members to manage the end-to-end process of client proposals including crafting estimates, timelines, and strategic proposals.
- Exhibit strategic thinking with a blend of networking prowess and technical acumen.
- Travel as needed for client presentations and industry events.
- Represent Avenue Z at industry events and client meetings to strengthen brand presence.
- Stay abreast of industry trends through continuous education and professional development.
- Coordinate with the marketing team and management to align sales and marketing efforts.
- Manage sales forecasting and maintain meticulous records in HubSpot (CRM) to track lead and deal activities.
- Follow through the entire sales process from initial discovery to proposal, follow-up, and closing stages.
- Cultivate positive relationships with vendors, strategic partners, and clients.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of sales experience in digital media or marketing, ideally at an agency or in a SaaS environment, with direct involvement in digital marketing channels.
- Proactive knowledge development of digital marketing and advertising platforms such as Meta, Google, TikTok, Applovin, Shopify and Snapchat.
- Independent, self-motivated with the ability to thrive without constant supervision.
- Strong persuasive skills to influence decisions and generate business opportunities.
- Familiarity with sales quotas and revenue forecasting.
- Strong client relationship skills with the ability to estimate project scopes accurately and educate clients on project costs and timelines.
- A proactive approach, willing to exceed department expectations.
- High energy, robust work ethic, deep integrity and strong interpersonal skills.
Compensation:
- Job Type: Full-time
- Annual Salary: $70-85K/year
- Total Compensation Potential: $150,000+, with commissions, stock incentives and total benefits.
