We're seeking a General Manager to join the band in Lynn

Salary: $68,000 to $72,000 range (based on experience)

Our General Manager will lead the band at Greatest Hits

We're seeking a candidate who lives and breathes retail. Someone who understands how to lead and motivate their staff and isn't afraid to try something new. The cannabis industry is constantly evolving so you must be an individual who is not afraid of change and easily adjusts as circumstances warrant. You'll need to be able to work a flexible schedule because we will be open 7 days a week.

The General Manager is a key leadership position overseeing all elements of the dispensary operations. To be successful in this role, you should be a thoughtful leader and a confident decision-maker, helping our people develop and be productive while ensuring our profits are on the rise. Ultimately, you'll help our company grow and thrive.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations
  • Design strategy and set goals for growth
  • Maintain budgets and optimize expenses
  • Set policies and processes
  • Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally
  • Oversee recruitment and training of new employees
  • Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance
  • Direct the employee assessment process
  • Prepare regular reports for upper management
  • Ensure staff maintains compliance with the Cannabis Control Commission regulations
  • Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors)

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a retail General Manager or similar role
  • Experience developing and leading a team
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in planning and budgeting
  • Knowledge of business processes and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations etc.)
  • Strong analytical ability
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
  • Problem-solving aptitude
  • Age 21 or older with valid State-Issued Photo ID
