Help needed for dog kennel, nights and weekends

Dog Kennel help needed

We are looking for dedicated, loyal and responsible dog caretakers and handlers who LOVE dogs and want to join our team The ideal candidate will be confident around a large group of dogs and self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

Dog handling and training experience is a plus and salary will be dependent of experience.

Must have common sense and the ability to follow a detailed schedule. Time management skills and punctuality are also necessary for the position. Please be drama free, and know how to communicate properly to peers and management.

**Main shifts needed: 2pm or 3pm until close (9:30-10:30pm)

Possibly some mornings 7am until 3pm.

Kennel responsibilities include:

  • Taking dogs outside for bathroom and play time
  • Cleaning up inside and outside
  • Preparing food, feeding dogs and providing water
  • Brushing and bathing dogs
  • Interacting with clients
  • Assisting trainers and following directions for proper reinforcement of manners and obedience.
  • Cleaning kennels, washing dishes, sweeping, mopping, laundry and general cleaning
  • MUST have reliable transportation
  • Punctual, reliable and able to work weekends, nights and holidays.
  • Great customer service skills
  • Must live close to the Carmel/Mahopac area
