Job Summary:
As an Account Manager at Approved Manufacturing, you will be the primary point of contact for our sheet metal fabrication and CNC machining house account customers. Your role will be pivotal in building and maintaining long-term relationships with our customers, ensuring their needs are met, and driving business growth through effective communication and quote follow-up. This position requires a candidate with strong business acumen, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple customer interactions simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Relationship Management:
- Serve as the main point of contact for all customer inquiries, quotes, and questions related to sheet metal fabrication and CNC machining services.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with existing customers, understanding their needs, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Proactively engage with customers to understand their business goals and offer solutions that align with Approved Manufacturing's capabilities.
Quote Follow-Up:
- Actively follow up on quotes via phone and email to prospective buyers, ensuring timely responses and addressing any questions or concerns.
- Provide input and support where needed with the estimating team
- Assist in the preparation and processing of key documentation, including NDAs, quality certifications, and other customer-requested documentation.
Customer Service & Support:
- Address and resolve customer inquiries, coordinating with appropriate ASM team members to provide solutions. Ensuring that all customer interactions are handled in a professional and timely manner.
Administrative Tasks:
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions using and the company's ERP system.
- Work closely with other ASM team members to meet and exceed customer expectations.
- Contribute to a positive work environment that aligns with Approved Manufacturing's goals and values.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience in account management, sales, or customer service
- Proficiency in computer systems
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple customer accounts simultaneously.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a strong desire to achieve business objectives.
Preferred Experience:
- Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication, CNC machining, or similar technical knowledge is a plus.
- Experience with Google Workspace, Salesforce, and ERP systems.
- Ability to understand and communicate technical specifications and requirements to customers.
