What We Are Looking For
The Contracts Manager oversees the full lifecycle of commercial agreements that support Airlock Digital's growth, risk management, and customer success. Reporting directly to the COO, this role partners across all business functions to drive efficient, scalable deal processes aligned with our commercial strategy and risk posture.

This is a hands-on, high-impact position for someone who thrives at the intersection of business, law, and technology. The Contracts Manager ensures timely, compliant, and commercially sound agreements that improve deal velocity, maintain stakeholder confidence, and strengthen Airlock Digital's operational and audit readiness within a cybersecurity context.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end contract lifecycle, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, executing, renewing, and amending customer, partner, and vendor agreements.
  • Balance legal risk management with commercial enablement to protect Airlock Digital's interests while supporting fast and frictionless deal closure.
  • Develop, maintain, and scale contract playbooks and templates that reflect current legal and commercial posture.
  • Collaborate with Product, Sales, Technology, Security, and Legal teams to define contractual requirements and align terms with product capabilities.
  • Negotiate key commercial and legal terms (e.g., SLAs, indemnities, warranties, limitation of liability, data/security commitments), escalating complex issues to legal counsel as needed.
  • Oversee compliance with contractual obligations including milestones, deliverables, audits, reporting, and renewal timelines to ensure a clean audit trail.
  • Track and report on contract metrics (cycle times, bottlenecks, exposure) and recommend improvements to enhance deal velocity and process efficiency.
  • Support vendor and third-party contracting and licensing as required.
  • Act as the escalation point for contract-related issues with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain and enhance the existing contracts management system and associated processes to drive continuous improvement and scalability.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5–8 years of relevant contract management experience, ideally within technology, cybersecurity, or SaaS environments.
  • Demonstrated strength in drafting, negotiating, and managing commercial agreements (customer, partner, and vendor).
  • Strong understanding of commercial contracting principles (e.g., IP, liability, data protection, risk transfer) and familiarity with regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience drafting and negotiating data processing addendums, security schedules, or related appendices.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to drive process improvements and workflow standardization to scale with business needs.
  • Ability to balance stakeholder expectations and align Sales, Product, and Legal priorities.
  • Calm under pressure, with the ability to manage multiple negotiations and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of business contracting systems and approval workflows; experience with contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools is advantageous.
  • Strong business and commercial acumen, with the ability to translate complex legal terms into practical business outcomes
