Job Description

What you get to do in this role: 

  • Review, draft, and negotiate a variety of technology agreements to help finalize deals with third parties and meet product release timelines 
  • Update and maintain templates and other related resources
  • Maintain the system of records of all contracts ensuring conformance to established guidelines and best practices
  • Advise to ensure that use of third-party technology aligns with product and company business processes and policies 
  • Review existing strategy and agreements to determine the appropriate renewal strategy 
  • Coordinate the day-to-day activities required to deliver a high-quality product on time 
Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have: 

  • 7+ years of relevant contracts manager experience in a technology company or in-house legal department
  • Ability to interpret, negotiate, and draft legal and business terms and conditions 
  • Ability to participate and understand technical discussions and business requirements, from strategic goals to detailed requirements 
  • Ability to partner and work with cross functional teams, building meaningful business relationships along the way 
  • Strong analytical abilities and business acumen with excellent communication skills
  • Self-motivation and ability to work under pressure, being dependable with deliverables and deadlines, and able to multi-task
  • Bachelor's degree; contract management or paralegal certificate a plus
