GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:

Quality Technician is responsible for maintaining close working relationships with other personnel in order to meet and maintain product quality, identify, solve and prevent problems affecting product quality, maximize productivity, and comply with regulatory requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Supports the inspection functions by performing in-process and finished goods inspections, including visual and dimensional verifications.

· Create and maintain inspection documentation throughout the inspection process

· Maintaining control of non-conforming products and ensuring that all documentation for non-conformances is in accordance with Rockford Specialties procedures

· Ensure that all gages in the facility are calibrated and in good working condition

· Working knowledge of ISO 9001 standards

· Experience reading blueprints and customer specifications

· Supports Quality Supervisor

· Adhere to Company policies as described in Associate handbook.

· Follow all procedures as they pertain to this position.

· Follow all quality standards and procedures.

· Maintain a safe and orderly work environment.

· Other tasks as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma, two-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with Microsoft Office Programs.

PC-DMIS experience is a plus.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Bilingual is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
