Open to candidates in the U.S. and Canada
About The Role
SingleFile is looking for a Technical Product Manager to lead the evolution of the platforms and infrastructure that power our AI-enabled compliance solutions. This role focuses on building the internal systems, data access layers, and platform capabilities that enable teams across SingleFile to securely and effectively leverage AI at scale.
You will work closely with engineering and data leaders to design and deliver scalable, secure, and reliable foundations for AI-driven innovation. By guiding architectural decisions, prioritizing platform investments, and shaping how data is accessed and governed, you will ensure SingleFile's internal infrastructure unlocks new possibilities for our products and customers.
As a leader, you will also help mentor other PMs, align executive stakeholders, and ensure SingleFile's platform remains the trusted foundation for compliance innovation.
What you'll do
- Design and deliver the systems, pipelines, and internal tools that allow SingleFile teams to effectively leverage AI, spanning scalable data pipelines, secure data access frameworks, and governance controls.
- Define and prioritize how teams securely access, process, and apply data for AI use cases, ensuring privacy, security, and regulatory compliance are built in from the start.
- Partner with engineering and data teams to evolve our cloud and SaaS architecture to support AI-driven workflows at scale, including APIs, permissions models, and infrastructure services.
- Own the roadmap for long-term initiatives such as permissions, AI infrastructure, APIs, and related platform areas. Define and measure platform KPIs such as system performance, data accessibility, and AI adoption metrics to guide iteration and investment.
- Collaborate closely with engineering leads and architects to define requirements, evaluate technical tradeoffs, and guide product development with an understanding of system design principles.
- Drive backlog management, sprint planning, and delivery of high-quality, technically sound platform capabilities, ensuring engineering teams have clear priorities and context.
- Work with executives, security, compliance, and product teams to ensure AI infrastructure investments unlock real customer and business value downstream.
What we're looking for
- 5+ years in product management with a focus on technical or platform initiatives such as data platforms, APIs, AI/ML infrastructure, or cloud systems.
- Familiarity with SaaS architecture, cloud platforms, APIs, and AI/ML technologies. Experience with data governance, security frameworks, or scaling AI systems is a strong plus.
- Understanding of how modern AI models interact with data pipelines, infrastructure, and APIs, and ability to translate business needs into technical requirements for AI enablement.
- Background in legal technology, compliance, or other regulated industries, with an understanding of workflows, data sensitivity, and the customer landscape.
- Proven track record of leading technical product areas and partnering with engineering to deliver platform capabilities at scale.
- Strong communicator who can align executives, engineers, and product stakeholders around a shared vision.
- Ability to connect infrastructure investments to downstream customer and business outcomes.
- Thrives in a distributed, fast-paced startup environment with a bias for action.
About SingleFile
At SingleFile, we are rethinking the way companies and law firms manage compliance work. And in the process, we give people back more of their most scarce resource—time. How? We simplify repetitive, manual and detail-oriented compliance work, which frees people up for more rewarding activities. With SingleFile, our users have more time and the peace of mind that all the administrative stuff is under control.
Companies need to comply with state and local regulations wherever they operate. It's important, detail-oriented work that nobody wants to do. Today, it's managed with to-do lists and spreadsheets, which are hard to maintain and prone to inaccuracy. The alternative is to use one of the two large service providers that throw filing clerks at the problem. Very little has changed since the industry started over 120 years ago.
We help companies and their law firms do this job quickly, easily and precisely while disrupting a dated yet profitable industry. We partner with national law firms so that their clients can benefit from our services. We're looking for a highly visible channel sales manager to play a pivotal role in owning and developing our relationships with top tier National Law Firms.
