Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Construction Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all engineering and technical aspects are executed efficiently. This position requires strong analytical skills, effective communication, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to deliver high-quality results.

Duties

  • Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Utilize engineering software such as Mathcad and GIS for design and analysis tasks.
  • Conduct system design evaluations and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Prepare technical documentation, including reports, specifications, and project proposals.
  • Oversee construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Assist in the implementation of construction management practices to optimize project efficiency.
  • Perform calculations related to SWMM (Storm Water Management Model) and HEC (Hydrologic Engineering Center) methodologies for water resource projects.
  • Facilitate communication between contractors, clients, and internal teams to ensure project objectives are met.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project engineering or construction management is preferred.
  • Proficiency in engineering software tools such as Mathcad, GIS, SWMM, and HEC is highly desirable.
  • Strong technical writing skills for effective documentation and reporting.
  • Excellent mathematical skills for calculations related to engineering designs.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
