Lincoln Powersports is a fast-growing, multi-brand dealership proudly offering:

Can-Am, Ski-Doo, Lynx, CFMOTO, Yamaha Outboards, Mercury Marine, and Polaris Snowmobiles, with plans for continued expansion including Polaris Off-Road.

We are in an exciting growth phase with a new showroom expansion, increased service capacity, and strong year-over-year sales. We are looking for a high-performance General Manager to help lead the dealership into the next stage of growth.

Position Overview

We're seeking a hands-on, driven, operationally strong General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dealership including:

  • Sales
  • Service
  • Parts & Accessories
  • Customer experience
  • Staff development
  • Financial performance
  • Inventory management
  • OEM relationships
  • Growth planning

The ideal candidate has dealership leadership experience (powersports, auto, marine, or equipment), strong financial acumen, and the ability to motivate and lead a team.

Key Responsibilities Leadership & Operations

  • Oversee daily operations across all departments (Sales, Service, Parts, Admin).
  • Implement and enforce streamlined processes for customer flow, scheduling, and accountability.
  • Maintain a strong, positive culture built on teamwork, communication, and performance.

Sales & Customer Experience

  • Manage sales performance, lead handling, and follow-up systems.
  • Ensure every customer receives exceptional service from first contact to delivery.

Service & Parts

  • Collaborate with Shop Foreman and Service Writer to improve shop efficiency, tech productivity, and scheduling.
  • Help drive parts organization, inventory accuracy, and increased accessory attachment.

Financial & Inventory Management

  • Monitor P&L statements, budgets, payroll, and department KPIs.
  • Manage floorplan, aging inventory, ordering, and replenishment strategies.
  • Ensure accuracy inside Lightspeed / DMS systems.

Team Development

  • Hire, train, coach, and motivate staff across all departments.
  • Hold employees accountable to performance standards and dealership values.
  • Build a sales department with proper structure as volume increases.

OEM Relations

  • Maintain excellent communication with Can-Am, Polaris, Yamaha, Mercury, Ski-Doo/Lynx, and CFMOTO reps.
  • Ensure compliance with brand programs, marketing requirements, training, and reporting.

Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of dealership management experience (powersports, auto, marine, equipment, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of sales, service, and parts operations.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and improving profitability.
  • Ability to read and manage P&L, financial statements, and department KPIs.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable working in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to relocate or commute to Lincoln, Maine.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $60,000–$150,000 base salary Depending on management experience
  • Bonus structure: tied to sales volume, gross profit, service absorption, and total dealership performance
  • PTO & paid holidays

Pay: $60, $150,000.00 per year
