As a Security Officer - School Patrol in Allentown, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.Respond to incidents and critical situations on campus in a calm, problem-solving manner.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the educational facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.Assist students, staff, and visitors with questions, directions, and general information as needed.Collaborate with campus personnel and local authorities when appropriate to support a secure environment.Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal procedures.Minimum Requirements:
CPR certification is preferred.Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Access control or badge experience is preferred.Alarm panel experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Closing
