Job Description

As a Security Guard - Unarmed Patrol Driver in Allentown, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with resolution as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences, to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel.
  • Assist with access control, verifying credentials of individuals entering the location as required by site procedures.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members.
  • Complete required documentation and reports related to security-related incidents, patrols, and daily activities.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
