The Data Entry Specialist is responsible for accurately processing hardcopy and digital documents, validating automated data outputs, and ensuring high-quality document conversion. The role includes performing high-speed data entry, resolving system exceptions, verifying check information, and maintaining consistent data accuracy across all workflows.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Perform high-speed manual data entry and verification (15,000 KS/hr).
  • Validate automated document classifications, extracted data, and redactions; correct exceptions as needed.
  • Complete manual metadata indexing and ensure accurate digital document processing.
  • Conduct quality control checks on scanned documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Review and validate check data including payee, date, signatures, and supporting documents.
  • Reconcile check batch totals and distribute check amounts to appropriate accounts.
  • Prepare and issue Check Return Letters when discrepancies occur.

Qualifications

  • High-speed, accurate typing skills (15,000 KS/hr preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent data accuracy.
  • Experience with digital document processing or automated data extraction tools (preferred).
  • Ability to interpret information from various document types.
  • Basic understanding of check processing or financial documentation (a plus).
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to follow strict procedures and maintain confidentiality.

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
