PPG, Inc. is established yet expanding, and we're looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll play a key part in improving cash flow, reducing DSO, and strengthening relationships with both internal and external customers.

You'll manage collections on account assignments, document updates, resolve disputes, and support AR operations across multiple divisions. This is a highly interactive role that requires proactive communication, strong analytical skills, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collections on account assignments and accurately document all updates.
  • Research and resolve deductions, disputes, and overpayments bases on those collection efforts.
  • Provide departmental support via ACD lines and AR mailbox.
  • Process co-op and credit hold reports; escalate issues as necessary.
  • Maintain account setup, including tax exemption compliance.
  • Respond to customer inquiries related to account balances or payment status.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to achieve departmental aging and cash collection goals.
  • Participate in AR team meetings and contribute to process improvements initiatives
  • Provide administrative support and assist with special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of hands-on Accounts Receivable experience.
  • 3+ years of Cash Application experience.
  • 3+ years of Customer Service experience.
  • Experience with 3rd party portals and (EDI) submissions. (preferred but not required)
  • Understanding of Purchase Orders (Pos) and Contracts (preferred but not required)
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Oracle ERP experience required.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and maintain fast, accurate data entry.
  • Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work effectively across departments.
