Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough residential cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitization to ensure homes are spotless and hygienic.
  • Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing clothing and linens with care and efficiency.
  • Maintain high standards of sanitation by disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas to promote a healthy living environment.
  • Execute specialized floor care procedures including carpet cleaning, polishing hardwood floors, and maintaining tile surfaces for optimal appearance.
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with clients, understanding their specific needs, and ensuring their satisfaction with each visit.
  • Manage janitorial responsibilities such as waste removal, restocking supplies, and ensuring all cleaning equipment is properly maintained.
  • Assist with house management tasks like organizing spaces or preparing homes for special occasions when needed.
  • Follow safety protocols and proper use of cleaning products to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and clients.
  • Contribute to a positive team atmosphere by sharing best practices and supporting colleagues in achieving service excellence.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in residential cleaning or custodial work; hotel housekeeping or commercial cleaning experience is highly valued.
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and floor care procedures.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting moderate loads, and maneuvering cleaning equipment comfortably.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Familiarity with laundry processes and stain removal techniques.
  • Experience with carpet cleaning tools and methods is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of janitorial supplies management and safety protocols.
  • Prior experience in hospitality or hotel housekeeping management is advantageous but not required.
