The Opportunity

As the Early Careers Coordinator, you'll have an opportunity to play a key role in supporting the recruitment efforts for our New Grad and Internship program.  While this role provides administrative support by scheduling interviews and completing onboarding processes, this role is critical for creating an exceptional experience for every candidate from start to finish. You'll join an award-winning recruitment team focused on innovative recruitment strategies, cares about the candidate experience, makes significant investments in DE&I, and supports the new generation of talent through an impactful New Grad and Internship program. 

The Team

Black & Veatch's Business Enablement consists of critical groups that help enable the organizations people, projects, and businesses to be as successful as possible.   Functions in this group include Digital & Information Technology, Global Finance, Global Human Resources, Legal, Risk Management, and Government Affairs and Real Estate and Building Services. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedules a high volume of new grad and intern candidate interviews 
  • Manages internal and external new grad and intern job postings/campaigns on our recruitment platforms
  • Completes new grad and intern onboarding tasks like background checks and drug screens
  • Coordinates with IT on equipment orders for all new professionals
Preferred Qualifications
  • Have a passion for recruitment
  • Experience in Human Resources or Talent Acquisition/Recruitment
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
Minimum Qualifications
  • Typically two years of experience or Bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following:
    • criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
