Job Title: Commercial HVAC Service Technician

Location: Tampa, FL

Pay: $30 – $45 per hour (based on experience)

Position Overview

As a Commercial HVAC Service Technician, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. You'll work independently and as part of a team to ensure systems are operating efficiently and safely while providing outstanding service to our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot commercial HVAC systems, including rooftop units, split systems, chillers, and heat pumps.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections.
  • Repair or replace components such as compressors, motors, fans, thermostats, and electrical parts.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding service findings and recommendations.
  • Complete service tickets and documentation accurately and on time.
  • Adhere to company safety policies and OSHA standards.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an HVAC Technician (commercial experience required).
  • EPA Universal Certification required.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, controls, and refrigerants.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying conditions (heights, outdoors, etc.).
