Cella has an exciting opportunity for a PowerPoint Presentation Designer at an award-winning, best-in-class, in-house agency at a major pharmaceutical company. For this remote position, you will work closely with creative leads, medical writers, and key organizational stakeholders in developing and executing presentation designs that are visually compelling and accurate in details.

The PowerPoint Presentation Designer is a strategic communicator that supports the global organization by creating designs that enable presenters to deliver engaging and effective presentations. The designer effectively distills complex ideas into clear and concise messages. To achieve the highest possible standards for all designed materials, the presentation designer must exhibit outstanding design judgment, stay educated on the latest presentation design trends, and have an understanding of clients' business challenges.

Responsibilities:

• Exhibit best design practices to create purposeful presentations.
• Ideate in best ways to leverage PPT tools to enhance storytelling.
• Collaborate with medical writers and copywriters to visually enhance content.
• Knowledge of latest PowerPoint features to quickly create/update decks.
• Utilize current corporate templates to reformat existing presentations.
• Apply typography skills to enhance text-heavy layouts.
• Create data-heavy graphs and charts within PPT and Illustrator.
• Develop infographics and data visualization to convey complex information.
• Create illustrations and icons consistent to the brand.
• Act as a champion of brand standards and guidelines.
• Maintain the brands' aesthetic and tone of voice.
• Ensure application of creative direction from project team and client expectations.
• Ability to verbally communicate design rationale and describe visual concepts.
• Identify and apply latest presentation design trends, as applicable.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of five years presentation design experience.
• Portfolio with strong presentation samples.
• Excellent verbal, client-facing communication skills.
• Experience designing for pharmaceutical or other regulated industries.
• External agency experience.
• In-house agency experience.
• Proficient in using PowerPoint on Mac and PC.
• Expert-level skills in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Expert-level skills in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Experience with advanced PPT skills such as hyperlinking, animations, and transitions.
• Strong sense of visual aesthetics and typography.
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
• Collaborate with project team members in a dynamic environment.
• Actively participate in project conversations and communications.
• Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities, deadlines, and directions.
• Ability to work autonomously with excellent time management skills.
