Position Summary
We are seeking a full-time Instructional Designer to join our growing team. GRT Financial is a licensed debt settlement company dedicated to providing cost-effective representation for clients seeking to negotiate reductions in unsecured debt.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop eLearning courses, simulations, videos, and microlearning assets.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and business leaders to identify learning needs and translate complex information into accessible, engaging content.
- Apply adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies such as ADDIE and SAM.
- Create storyboards, scripts, and visual design plans for eLearning and video content.
- Build and publish learning materials using tools such as iSpring Suite and Active Presenter.
- Partner with facilitators to align eLearning with instructor-led and virtual training sessions.
- Collect feedback, monitor learner performance, and recommend program improvements.
- Ensure consistency with brand standards across all training content.
- Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Language Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to present complex topics clearly in both individual and group settings.
Math Skills
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic, including fractions, decimals, percentages, and interpret simple graphs.
Reasoning Skills
- Ability to interpret written, verbal, and diagram-based instructions.
- Ability to solve problems involving multiple variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Windows.
- Advanced knowledge of eLearning development tools.
Required:
- 1–2 years of instructional design or training experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency with eLearning authoring tools.
- Strong writing, communication, and project management skills.
- Experience working cross-functionally and delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with LMS platforms, SCORM/xAPI standards, and eLearning analytics.
- Solid understanding of adult learning theory and corporate training frameworks.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Communications, or related field.
- Training experience in a legal services or call center environment.
- Ability to work at a computer for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds and reach/bend for stored items.
- Onsite presence required.
- Ability to speak, hear, and see for the duration of the workday.
- Frequent keyboard use and data entry.

Position Details- Anticipated Start Date: 01/12/2026
- Status: Full-Time, Exempt
- Salary: $65,000 annually (weekly pay)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm EST
