What You'll Do:

As an M&A Intern at Group 1 Automotive, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our M&A professionals on strategic projects and transactions. Under the guidance of experienced dealmakers, you will gain hands-on experience in all stages of the M&A process, from deal sourcing and due diligence to negotiation and integration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and analysis on potential acquisition targets and market trends.
  • Assist in financial modeling and valuation analysis.
  • Prepare presentations and investment memos for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Support due diligence efforts, including data gathering and analysis.
  • Assist in the negotiation and execution of M&A transactions.
  • Support integration planning and post-merger integration activities.

Qualifications:

  • Junior or Senior status currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Preferred Minimum of a 3.00 cumulative GPA
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
