Assistant Manager – Keep Our Community Running Smoothly

Location: Marquee- Minneapolis, MN 

Marquee Apartments, located in the heart of downtown Minneapolis, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and process rent payments accurately and on time
  • Organize and host regular resident events to promote community engagement
  • Contribute to leasing efforts by showcasing available apartments and closing leases
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to residents and prospects
  • Maintain strong working relationships with the onsite team
  • Assist the Property Manager in daily operations, serving as a key point of support and acting as their right hand in all aspects of property management
  • Coordinate with attorneys to manage the eviction process in compliance with legal requirements
  • Remain calm, professional, and solution-focused when addressing challenging or sensitive situations
  • Adapt and perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Learn quickly and apply new processes effectively

Requirements

 Qualifications:

  • Previous property management or leasing experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to navigate complex situations with sound judgment and professionalism
  • Team-oriented mindset with a positive, professional attitude
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in basic office software and property management systems a plus
