Responsible for supervising and coordinating all Sterile Processing activities for facility utilizing National Standards. Hires, trains and monitors performance and quality, organizes and assigns work in order to provide high quality and efficient services. Develops and manages sterile processing budget. Serves as a resource for facility and outlying associated clinics in the area of sterile processing. Supports Medical Staff through provision of services for all departments. Coordinates all activities to support regional standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree - Business, Healthcare or a related field or equivalent educ/experience.
  • National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association upon hire.
  • National Certified Instrument Specialist - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association upon hire.
  • 2 years - Supervisory experience, including training and staff development.
  • 2 years - Experience with budget management/analysis.
  • 3 years - Work experience in field of Sterile Processing.
