Jon Richards Company is a leading custom manufacturer of sets, props, and signage. We're currently seeking a Project Manager to join our team. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and excellent communication skills. Ideal candidates will have experience in graphics, props, and set construction, along with a solid understanding of fabrication processes involving metals, wood, fiberglass, and painting.

Responsibilities:

  • Fully understand project requirements and scope.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining communication via phone, email, and in-person meetings.
  • Collaborate with the CAD team to develop fabrication methods and designs.
  • Manage procurement and inventory of materials and supplies for fabrication.
  • Schedule and supervise the fabrication team, including carpenters, welders, and painters.
  • Ensure product quality meets high standards.
  • Oversee project schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Manage project resources, including cost tracking and budgeting.
  • Direct and document change orders as needed.
  • Complete project closeouts, ensuring all requirements are met.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Proficiency in computer programs such as Excel and Word.
  • A keen eye for detail, correctness, and quality.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Familiarity with CAD design and construction techniques is a plus.

Additional Information:

  • Some travel may be required for installations and client meetings, as we serve clients worldwide.
  • Hours: Monday–Thursday, 6:45 AM–6:00 PM, with Fridays often required depending on project schedules.
