Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and a highly motivated, results driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team in the B2B manufacturing sector. This role offers company paid high travel opportunities and the chance to develop and manage key client accounts across various territories. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in business development, management, and technical sales, with a proven track record in B2B sales environments. This position is perfect for someone who thrives on building relationships, generating leads, and closing deals through strategic territory management and effective negotiation.

Responsibilities

  • Travel regularly, (3-4 days a week) to customer sites, industry events, and trade shows located locally, regionally or nationally.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to target new business opportunities within assigned territories.
  • Manage existing client accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and foster long-term relationships.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations tailored to client needs, highlighting features and benefits.
  • Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and leveraging CRM tools such as Salesforce.
  • Identify customer needs and upsell additional products or services to maximize revenue.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to close sales effectively.
  • Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status using CRM software.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop territory-specific campaigns that drive lead generation.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to refine sales strategies and identify new opportunities.

Experience

  • Experience at least 3+in traveling Outside Sales a must.
  • Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or technical sales within manufacturing or related industries.
  • Strong management skills with experience in territory management and account management.
  • Demonstrated success in business development, lead generation, cold calling, and direct sales approaches.
  • Excellent negotiation skills coupled with the ability to deliver compelling product demos and presentations.
  • Ability to analyze market data to inform strategic decision-making and identify growth opportunities.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Experience selling paper, packaging, or tubular products a plus.
  • Knowledge of supply chain or manufacturing processes

  • Currently our facility is located in High Point, NC. We will be moving in late March 2026 to Salisbury, NC. Would you be able to travel to the facility after it is relocated. Outside Sales Representatives are not required to report to the facility daily.
