Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will drive business growth by actively engaging with prospective and existing clients through outside sales efforts, managing territory accounts, and developing new business opportunities. Duties
- Conduct outside sales activities by visiting potential clients and existing accounts within assigned territories to promote our products and services.
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to identify new leads, generate prospects, and expand the customer base through cold calling, networking events, and targeted marketing initiatives.
- Manage existing accounts by providing exceptional customer service, understanding client needs, and offering tailored product solutions to foster long-term relationships.
- Perform product demonstrations and presentations to showcase features, benefits, and technical specifications of our offerings.
- Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track leads, manage customer interactions, update account information, and analyze sales data for continuous improvement.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to secure mutually beneficial agreements while maintaining profitability.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop territory-specific campaigns that enhance brand awareness and lead generation efforts.
- Conduct regular analysis of sales performance metrics to identify opportunities for upselling and improve overall territory management strategies.
- Support inside sales teams by providing technical expertise during customer inquiries or product demos when needed.
- Participate in trade shows, industry conferences, and networking events to increase brand visibility and establish new business relationships.
- Maintain detailed records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and follow-up actions to ensure seamless account management.
Experience
We are looking for candidates with a strong background in sales—preferably with experience in outside sales or B2B environments—and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets. Experience with territory management, lead generation strategies, and direct sales is highly valued. Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce is essential for effective pipeline management. Candidates should possess excellent negotiation skills combined with a customer-focused approach that emphasizes service excellence. Ideal applicants will have experience in technical or product-based sales environments, including technology or retail sectors. Strong analysis skills are important for evaluating market trends and identifying new opportunities. Prior management experience or involvement in business development initiatives will be considered a plus. A proactive mindset coupled with excellent communication abilities will enable you to succeed in building lasting client relationships across diverse industries.
