Position Summary
The Sales Director will serve as the senior leader driving revenue growth and business development across Flournoy Health Systems. This individual will report directly to the CEO and oversee the Sales Director of Primecare Home Care, the Business Development Director, and provide support to the Sales Team members across all subsidiaries.
The Sales Director is responsible for building and executing strategic sales initiatives, ensuring pipeline growth, accurate forecasting, and sales team development while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and customer success.
The Sales Director will not only drive revenue for Flournoy Health Systems but will also serve as the architect of a scalable sales infrastructure. This leader will build a system of processes, playbooks, and metrics that can be replicated across subsidiaries and future acquisitions, laying the foundation for long-term, sustainable growth across the enterprise.
Success will be measured on revenue attainment, process development, sales pipeline performance, team development, referral partnerships.
Responsibilities
Strategic Sales Leadership
Develop and implement a multi-year sales strategy aligned with FHS's mission, vision, and growth roadmap.
Translate corporate growth objectives into actionable sales targets for subsidiaries and service lines.
Manage, coach, and hold accountable the Sales Director of PCHC and the Business Development Director.
Collaborate closely with the CEO, Operations, and Marketing to ensure unified go-to-market strategies.
Translate enterprise-wide growth objectives into structured sales strategies for each subsidiary, ensuring alignment with long-term CEO-level growth goals.
Collaborate with M&A teams during acquisition processes to assess sales structures, integrate pipelines, and train new sales staff into the FHS sales system.
Business Development & Revenue Growth
Drive new client acquisition and expand referral partnerships across FHS subsidiaries.
Build and manage sales pipelines through effective CRM, ensuring activity tracking and accurate forecasting.
Identify and prioritize high-impact market opportunities, including rural and hard-to-fill geographies.
Negotiate and close high-value contracts and agreements to meet or exceed revenue goals.
Sales & Marketing Alignment
Partner with Sales teams across subsidiaries to align campaigns with sales objectives.
Strengthen FHS brand positioning through coordinated digital, referral, and community engagement strategies.
Provide regular reporting on sales performance, conversion rates, and ROI of campaigns.
Identify emerging growth opportunities (service lines, geographic markets, partnerships) and build business cases for expansion.
Conduct post-mortems and ROI analyses on campaigns and market entry strategies to refine the system.
Design and implement repeatable sales playbooks and processes that can be adapted across subsidiaries and future acquisitions.
Develop standardized sales KPIs, dashboards, and reporting frameworks for organization-wide adoption.
Team Leadership & Development
Hire, train, and mentor high-performing sales and business development professionals.
Lead weekly pipeline reviews, performance check-ins, and market strategy sessions.
Foster a culture of collaboration, integrity, and accountability across the sales function.
Support leadership development and succession planning within the sales organization.
Market & Competitor Analysis
Continuously monitor industry, payer, and regulatory trends to identify opportunities and risks.
Deliver insights into consumer demand, referral behaviors, and competitor strategies.
Adjust sales approaches in alignment with FHS's Lena Care Standards and market shifts.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Healthcare Administration (MBA preferred).
7+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, ideally in healthcare or multi-entity organizations.
Proven track record of leading high-performing teams to exceed revenue and growth targets.
Strong expertise in CRM systems, sales forecasting, and pipeline management.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with executive presence.
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and align sales strategy with organizational goals.
Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
