We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our data management processes, ensuring accuracy, organization, and efficiency across various systems. Duties

  • Accurately input data into the Buildertrend platform with speed and precision
  • Maintain and update records through meticulous data entry, ensuring all information is current and error-free
  • Organize and file physical and electronic documents systematically for easy retrieval
  • Perform data collection tasks from various sources to support reporting and analysis needs
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel to create pivot tables, perform basic math calculations, and generate reports that aid decision-making

Requirements

  • Proven experience in data entry or clerical roles with a strong emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent typing skills with high speed and minimal errors
  • The ability to think critically and problem solve when anomalies arise
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Basic math skills for data verification and calculations
  • Basic understanding of accounts payable / accounts receivable preferred but not required
  • Prior office or administrative experience preferred but not required; training provided for the right candidate
  • Ability to perform filing, data collection, transcription, and order entry tasks efficiently
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Prior experience in residential construction is a plus, but not required
