We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Car Dealership Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in automotive sales, customer service, and will be comfortable using DealerCenter (our dealership management software). This role requires strong interpersonal skills, a basic knowledge of vehicles, and the drive to meet and exceed sales goals. If you are passionate about cars, customer satisfaction, and working in a high-energy sales environment, this is the job for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist customers with their vehicle selection, providing tailored recommendations based on their needs, preferences, and budget.
  • Conduct product presentations and walk customers through the features and benefits of vehicles.
  • Build rapport with customers and develop long-lasting relationships to ensure repeat business and customer referrals.
  • Negotiate pricing, trade-in values, and financing options to meet both customer needs and dealership sales goals.
  • Utilize DealerCenter software for inventory management, customer data entry, and processing sales transactions.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all vehicle models, inventory, and dealership promotions.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person.
  • Follow up with potential and current customers to ensure customer satisfaction and generate future sales opportunities.
  • Meet daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets while working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
  • Collaborate with other team members to maintain a positive and efficient work environment.
  • Uphold dealership standards for customer service and product knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in automotive sales or a similar customer-facing role is required.
  • Familiarity with DealerCenter or similar dealership management software is a must.
  • Basic knowledge of cars (models, features, and specifications) and the car-buying process.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build relationships with clients.
  • Strong communication skills; English-speaking is a must, Spanish-speaking is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with basic office software and dealership management systems.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Positive attitude, team player, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a high-volume or fast-paced dealership environment.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Knowledge of basic things and trade-in valuation.
  • Experience or interest in moving up into a Sales Manager, Team Lead, or Finance Manager role.
  • Willingness to learn finance for the right candidate, training will be provided.
