Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Full-Time Night Shift

Location: Dayton General Hospital – Acute Care/ED; Dayton, WA

Schedule: Full-Time | Night Shift

Compensation: $ $26.07 per hour

Night Shift Differential: $1.25 per hour

Flexible Scheduling | 2 Weekends/Month Required | Weekend and Night Shift Differentials

We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant for Dayton General Hospital to provide exceptional care in the Acute Care and Emergency Department. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, adapts quickly to changing needs, and takes pride in delivering exceptional care while meeting the unique challenges of a rural community.

Qualifications

  • Active Washington State CNA license
  • BLS certification every 2 years

Responsibilities

  • Work under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide and assist with direct patient care.
  • Perform basic care tasks such as patient hygiene, activities of daily living, nutritional support, vital signs, EKGs, and ambulation.
  • Maintain positive interactions with patients, visitors, physicians, and staff in a professional manner.
  • Ensure safe handling of infectious materials to protect patients and employees.
  • Record patient medical information in the EHR.
  • Complete other duties as assigned to support department workflow.
