Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Provides expertise in guiding Lean-Agile implementations, applying deep knowledge of SAFe/agile practices and principles to facilitate success.
- Ensure SAFe/Agile implementation alignment with the organization's strategic goals and objectives
- Supports PI Planning and execution with various businesses, portfolio, program, and functional stakeholders to establish priorities, set objectives, identify risks, and prepare and support the launch of agile release trains (ARTs)
- Develops, reviews, and updates value stream maps, leading workshops to identify development and operational value streams and develop action plans for continual improvements
- Provides agile coaching for all roles, levels, and experiences
- Reviews and recommends Agile metrics, reports, and tools, ensuring the organization organizes around value with relevant and impactful KPIs and OKRs
Qualifications:
Required Education/Experience/Skills:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
- Must have an active Secret Clearance or higher
- Must have a minimum of fifteen (15) of software development and a minimum of six (6) years of experience in leading SAFe/Lean-Agile implementations, advising on SAFe/Agile implementation best practices, and supporting transformational change and adoption
- Must possess active Certified SAFe Practice Consultant (SPC), Certified SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE), and Certified SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) certifications. No substitutions or equivalencies are permitted. Preference for organizational change certification from Kotter or Prosci
Preferred Requirements:
- Thorough understanding of NAVWAR, and the Navy's Program Executive Office for Manpower, Logistics & Business (PEO MLB) including their mission
Essential Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation

- Work may involve sitting for extended periods
- May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs
- Must have sufficient mobility to enter areas of test facilities where necessary
- Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on task
- Standard office equipment (PC, telephone, fax, etc.)
- Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical
- Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements when required
- Must be able to work in a team atmosphere
- Must put forward a professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation
- Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others
- This position may require some commuting and traveling to other installations as needed
