Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician – Painting Specialist to handle daily property upkeep, unit turns, and resident service requests. The ideal candidate will be an experienced painter with a strong eye for detail and the ability to complete make-ready units efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, paint, and finish interior and exterior surfaces using brush, roller, or spray methods
  • Perform make-ready work including drywall patching, trim repair, and surface restoration
  • Inspect and repair walls, ceilings, cabinetry, and other surfaces as needed
  • Measure, mix, and track paint and supply inventory
  • Respond promptly to resident work orders and communicate professionally
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain clean, organized work areas
  • Document completed work and report larger maintenance issues to the supervisor

Qualifications

  • Experience: 1–3+ years of painting or maintenance experience (multifamily preferred)
  • Skills: Strong painting, prep, and finishing abilities; basic drywall and carpentry skills
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with general maintenance tasks (plumbing, electrical, HVAC basics)
  • Other: Valid driver's license; reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
  • Preferred: EPA 608 or OSHA 10 certification
