Role Overview

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety. You'll lead a large team, manage budgets, and collaborate across departments to optimize fulfillment processes that deliver an exceptional experience for our customers.

You will report directly to the Director of Warehouse Operations and play a critical role in building a high-performing team, implementing scalable systems, and supporting Atomix's mission to redefine how eCommerce logistics operates.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment.
  • Manage 40 to 60 employees, ensuring productivity, accountability, and engagement across all warehouse shifts.
  • Manage departmental budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and cost control.
  • Develop and implement effective warehouse processes, layouts, and procedures to maximize throughput and minimize waste.
  • Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track inventory, monitor KPIs, and ensure data accuracy.
  • Ensure accurate and timely dispatching of orders to customers, maintaining high service levels.
  • Collaborate with logistics teams to coordinate transportation and delivery schedules.
  • Implement Lean principles to continuously improve operations and warehouse flow.
  • Recruit, train, and develop warehouse staff; foster a positive and safety-first workplace culture.
  • Maintain compliance with safety regulations and ensure a clean, organized environment.
  • Communicate effectively with leadership, peers, and customers to resolve issues and drive improvements.
  • Maintain operational readiness with a 6:00 AM start time and flexibility to meet business needs.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a senior warehouse leadership role.
  • Strong WHS (Warehouse and Handling Systems) experience and understanding of logistics, shipping/receiving, and inventory control.
  • Demonstrated experience managing large teams (40–60 employees) and overseeing budgets.
  • Familiarity with Lean principles and process optimization in warehouse settings.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred, but not required.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management software and productivity tools.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jack).
