If you would like to be a part of a growing team, apply today and start your career with First SupplyResponsibilitiesSupervision of all warehouse personnel, drivers and shipping/receiving employeesEnsure merchandise is received and stored in an efficient and economical manner, and maintain required records in conformance with company policyResponsible for proper routing, loading and preparing orders for shipment and delivery in accordance with customer instructionsReview and fill back orders; maintain back order fileSupervise and schedule maintenance of company delivery vehiclesMaintain a preventive maintenance programRecommend truck purchases, lifts, hoists, shelving and other warehouse equipmentKeep abreast of new methods of warehousingResponsible for inventory accuracyEnsure paperwork is complete for all inbound and outbound shipmentsResponsible for safety, security and maintenance of the warehouse facility and the material and equipment contained thereinKeep all equipment in good working orderDevelop and manage department budgetActively assume responsibility in the hiring, development, evaluation, retention and dismissal of department personnelConfer with department managers to insure coordination of warehouse activities with various departmentsAttend staff meetings as scheduledOther duties and responsibilities as assigned by the General ManagerQualifications5+ years of progressive management experienceWarehouse experienceExtensive plumbing and heating product knowledgeComputer knowledge and skills and ability to learn First Supply LLC's business systemFirst Supply, family-owned and operated for over 125 years, offers its employees a great benefits package including; medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, PTO, company paid holidays, on demand pay, education assistance, adoption assistance, and moreFirst Supply is a leading main channel wholesale distributor, providing industrial customers and building contractors with an extensive line of products and services.
