Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. You will assist with food preparation, take orders, handle transactions, and maintain a clean and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and provide prompt service
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately using a POS system
  • Prepare food items according to safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling procedures
  • Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales
  • Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, kitchen, and restroom facilities
  • Assist with bussing tables and ensuring a tidy environment for guests
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery
  • Adhere to food safety standards and regulations at all times

Skills

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of food handling and sanitation practices
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations
  • Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Experience with POS systems is a plus
  • Culinary experience or kitchen knowledge is beneficial but not required
