Duties

- Plan and execute a wide range of events, including banquets, conferences, fundraisers, and corporate meetings

- Collaborate with clients to understand their event objectives and develop event concepts

- Coordinate all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, and budgeting

- Create and manage event timelines to ensure all tasks are completed on schedule

- Oversee event setup and breakdown, ensuring all details are executed flawlessly

- Manage event staff and volunteers to ensure smooth operations during events

- Provide exceptional guest services and address any issues or concerns that may arise during events

- Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the success of each event and identify areas for improvement

-MUST knowledge with using OpenTable and TripleSeat

Experience

- Proven experience in event planning and management

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively

- Knowledge of banquet and hotel operations is highly desirable

- Experience in event marketing and promotion is a plus

- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously

- Ability to negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers

- Familiarity with fundraising strategies for nonprofit events is advantageous
