Accounts Receivable Specialist

Summary Description
This position is responsible for working on Accounts Receivable, master data maintenance, and process improvements for Kingspan Insulation North America. Coordination with leadership, sales, and other departments will be required.
Essential Duties
Essential duties are interpreted as being descriptive and not restrictive in nature. Other duties may be assigned.
- Manage customer accounts by tracking customer payments, ensuring timely collections, properly addressing invoice-related disputes to accelerate cash flow and proper daily cash posting to ensure current and accurate credit exposure.
- Account reconciliation and collections, contacting customers via email or telephone as needed to ensure healthy cash flow and timely payments reducing the risk of bad debt and maintaining a clean ledger.
- Monitor A/R Support email correspondence and customers master data updates as needed. New customer system set up and sold to locations must be in accordance with process in place.
- Credit review or credit application process for prospective and existing customers. Able to process credit applications within 24 and gather all required documentation for approval, account set up and customer credit terms email notification.
- Responsible for assisting Credit Manager with any daily, monthly, and year-end reports related to the department as needed.
- Prioritize workload to meet month-end, such as JE and related goals and deadlines as per Credit Manager request.
- Complete other tasks as assigned related or not related to daily duties.

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
Education and/or Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent is required and currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Statistics, or related field.
Must Have
- Experience with business computer applications including MS Office Suite, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational skills; strong attention to detail; ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work independently and to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to make decisions, exercise judgment, and interface effectively with all levels of staff.

Ability to deal with people in a manner which shows sensitivity, tact, and professionalism. Possess strong customer service skills and the ability to resolve problems in a diplomatic manner.
