HUMAN RESOURCE BUSINESS PARTNER LOCATION: Corporate DIVISION: CHROFUNCTION DESCRIPTION:The HR business partner is a strategic advisor for the assigned group, ensuring high level business performance and HR operational excellence. This person supports the assigned groups in several areas of human resources which may include coordinating employment activities, receiving and acting on employee complaints, administering employee records, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations, and reviewing employee performance. Additionally, this role will be responsible for benefits administration and communication for the entire organization.ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:Reports to: HR DirectorSupervises: n/aContacts: Frequent contact with Bellco managers and employees QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:Education: Degree in related field or equivalent experience. PHR or SPHR preferredExperience: years' Human Resources experience required years' experience with Benefits Administration required Experience with self-funded and fully funded benefits plans required Experience managing Employee Relations required Experience with Dayforce HCM preferredSkills: Excellent oral and written communication skills. Knowledge of federal and state employment laws. Excellent coaching and facilitation skills. Ability to demonstrate leadership, build relationships and inspire others to follow. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks/projects. PC skills, i.e. Windows, Word, Excel Ability to actively listen to employees to determine specific needs. Bilingual in Spanish preferred.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Demonstrates Bellco's Core Values and Act Nice Behaviors in all interactions with applicants, key contacts and personnel in other Bellco departments.Assists in workforce planning efforts (recruitment and selection of well-qualified employees) of the assigned group. Conducts New Employee Chats and Exit Interviews for assigned group, informing HR leaders of trends.Performs needs analysis in areas of responsibility and develops appropriate programs and strategies to anticipate and respond to Bellco's business needs.Advises management regarding performance review content, ensures the assigned group is delivering quality reviews which add value to the employee.Consults with and provides advice and training on employee relations topics, including corrective discipline.Ensures compliance with employment laws and various employee relations tasks.Conducts internal investigations; assists with preparation for litigation and EEOC charges.Owns administration of all benefit programs and the maintenance of those records, including but not limited to: Medical plans, COBRA, Workers' Comp, 401k, FSA, HRA, FAMLI, etc.Performs benefits analysis and completes survey reports. Recommends new offerings.Conducts monthly benefits meetings with new hires and performs annual benefits visits with all branches/departments.Provides communication to employees about benefits and maintains online resources.Assists with compensation practices/policies, including establishing estimated market values for new and existing roles.Provides HRIS support, including generating monthly and special reports and maintaining HR database.Assists with audits of various processes/procedures.Serves as a backup for various processes, including but not limited to Unemployment Claims, Org Chart Updates, Annual Policy Acknowledgement, NMLS, etc.Regular and punctual attendance.Management retains the discretion to add to or change the duties of the position at any time.WORKING CONDITIONS:Office EnvironmentVisits to branchesBellco Credit Union provides a comprehensive benefits package to employees, including: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k) with company match, Supplemental Life Insurance, Paid Vacation, Paid Sick Days, and Paid Holidays. In addition to base compensation, Bellco Credit Union offers bonuses for the following roles:Non-exempt branch roles may earn monthly bonuses for meeting production goals and quarterly bonuses for meeting team goals. Exempt branch roles may earn quarterly bonuses for production and team goals. Exempt non-branch management roles may be eligible for an annual managerial bonus. Non-branch non-management roles may be eligible for on-the-spot bonuses for extraordinary performance.
