Generative AI Architect

Location: Bay Area (Hybrid – 2–3 days onsite)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Note: This role is open only to candidates based in the Bay Area.

We're looking for a Generative AI Architect to help shape the next generation of our enterprise AI ecosystem. This role offers the opportunity to lead architecture and implementation of Agentic AI solutions built on AWS Bedrock, extending beyond traditional RAG systems into advanced agent-based architectures.

What You'll Do

  • Drive the evolution from RAG to Agentic AI architectures using AWS Bedrock Agents.
  • Design scalable, serverless solutions leveraging AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and Fargate.
  • Lead architecture design sessions and define technical standards and best practices.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code with AWS CDK and CloudFormation for automated deployments.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate business needs into technical designs.
  • Mentor developers on Bedrock Agents, serverless frameworks, and scalable AI patterns.
  • Ensure security, compliance, and governance across all AI systems.
  • Research and prototype emerging Bedrock features to enhance existing AI solutions.

What We're Looking For

  • Hands-on experience with AWS Bedrock Agents (action groups, knowledge bases, orchestration).
  • Strong background in RAG architecture and experience extending it to agentic workflows.
  • Proficiency in AWS Lambda (Python), API Gateway, and Fargate.
  • Expertise with AWS CDK (TypeScript/Python) and CloudFormation for infrastructure automation.
  • Solid understanding of vector databases, semantic search, and data integrations.
  • Familiarity with SQL (RDS/Aurora) and NoSQL (DynamoDB) databases.
  • Knowledge of prompt engineering, function calling, and agent reasoning patterns.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines for serverless and containerized environments.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 1+ years of hands-on experience with Generative AI and LLM-based solutions.
  • Proven track record in architecting and deploying large-scale AWS serverless applications.
  • Experience delivering Bedrock Agent–based solutions in production environments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $180, $250,000.00 per year
