As a
Pre-Sales Solutions Architect
, you will play a key role alongside our Sales team to identify client needs and design intelligent, scalable solutions using the latest in
generative AI, machine learning, and Google Cloud capabilities
. This role is highly client-facing, technical, and strategic — bridging business vision with cloud-native architectures. You'll own the creation of
Statements of Work (SOWs)
, act as a trusted advisor to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect end-to-end solutions on Google Cloud, with focus on scalable infrastructure, AI/ML integration, and data-driven services.
• Translate business goals into technical requirements and lead the creation of Statements of Work (SOWs).
• Lead pre-sales conversations in collaboration with Sales Executives to identify client challenges and deliver high-impact solutions.
• Apply AI tools and foundational models (Vertex AI, Gemini, etc.) to build client-centric use cases.
• Implement observability best practices using Google Cloud Monitoring and integrate with CI/CD pipelines.
• Serve as a thought leader, contributing blogs, case studies, and presenting at Avenue Code and industry events.
• Stay ahead of GCP innovations and AI trends to continuously enhance client offerings.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with a strong focus on GCP and AI solutions.
• Proven success in pre-sales engineering, consulting, or solutions architecture roles.
• Hands-on experience with data pipelines.
• Experience building and deploying AI/ML solutions (MLOps, Vertex AI, TensorFlow, LangChain, etc.).
• Experience designing software solutions.
• Strong understanding of GCP services, networking, IAM, and security architecture.
• Preferred certification: GCP Professional Cloud Architect (or equivalent).
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and executive stakeholders.
• Nice to have: thought leadership contributions through writing, speaking, or community involvement.

At Avenue Code, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for a Solutions Architect is from USD 140k to USD 200k per year.
