Great entry-level opportunity to work in the commercial construction industry and build skills in different construction trades. While working at A. Pleasant Construction the Employee has the ability to move up in positions in the company with experience and time.

Qualifications:

· Must be 18 years old or older

· Employee must have a valid Driver's License

· Entry Level Position

· The job will require the ability to lift 50 lbs overhead periodically.

· The job will require being able to work on roofs and at heights periodically.

· The job will require being able to physically strength and endurance to work a 8+ hour shifts.

. Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and pass random drug and alcohol tests.

Responsibilities:

· Assist the Foreman or Project Manager in performing construction work as instructed.

· Being reliable, showing up on time, and ready to work.

· Preparing construction materials and tools for work.

· Work will likely include, but not be limited to, concrete work, excavation, wood framing, metal framing, insulation systems, siding, roofing, floor prep., trim installation, and other related work.

Skills:

· Safely operate hand tools and equipment.

· Able to learn and apply OSHA safety requirements while working.

· Able to follow instructions on installing from manual or Foreman

· It is preferred if the candidate has experience in reading blueprints and interpreting schematics.

· Ability to work in a team setting and perform work in an individual setting.

· Able to communicate effectively with crew and team members

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $20.00 per hour
