OPERATIONS SUPPORT STAFF

JOB PURPOSE: The Operations Support position is responsible for direct client care and Operations Support

Staff are responsible for the general support and mentoring for clients. They will maintain a professional relationship that supports the company's mission statement and company vision at all times.

A. Job Duties and Responsibilities

1. Follow the company's policies, procedures, and protocols.

  1. Types and performs data entry as needed for communication purposes.
  2. Organizes and upload documents to client files (if applicable).
  3. Conforms to all necessary quality assurance standards.
  4. Drug tests clients effectively according to Waived Testing procedures.
  5. Greets scheduled visitors and coordinates to appropriate area or person.
  6. Follows up with facility rules and expectations, helps clients comply with contracts.
  7. Organizes cleaning supplies and materials.
  8. Makes copies of printed materials.
  9. "Observe and Report" for overall client care.
  10. Performs all necessary documentation regarding clients (i.e. rounds q 30m, vitals).
  11. Communicates effectively Program Director about Operations Support competency and completion of job duties and responsibilities.

    B Expectations
  12. DEPENDABILITY - Employee can be counted on to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner with little supervision. Accepts responsibility when necessary to see that the job gets done.
  13. ATTENDANCE AND PUNCTUALITY - Is prompt and on time for work, assignments and meetings.

Notifies supervisor prior to lateness or absence. Understands that excess absences pose a hardship on other employees.

  1. JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE - Employee completes all chart related documents and correspondence for assigned clients in a timely manner.

  2. QUANTITY AND QUALITY OF WORK - Cares about the quality and accuracy of work being produced. Accepts responsibility for completing job tasks. Uses time productively and efficiently.

  3. ATTITUDE - Demonstrates a cooperative, positive, and enthusiastic attitude toward fellow employees, clients and visitors. Maintains a positive attitude in carrying out assignments and is helpful and courteous to fellow employees.

  4. CONFIDENTIALITY - Know and follows confidentiality law and procedures always.

  5. COMMUNICATION SKILLS-Is effective in written and oral expression. Demonstrates proper telephone etiquette and able to communicate easily with clients, referral sources, and visitors in an appropriate manner. Relates to clients and co-workers in a respectful and professional manner.

  12. Individual has effective Communication with Program Director about Operations Support competency and completion of job duties and responsibilities.

    D. Minimum Qualifications

    Education / Experience

  13. Has a high school diploma or equivalent

F. Knowledge

  • An acute understanding of counseling and other treatment procedures for alcoholism and drug addiction related problems.
  • A knowledge of regulations concerning alcoholism and drug addiction treatment.
  • Working knowledge of alcoholism and drug addiction and treatment procedures for such illness.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour

  • 8 hour shift
  • 1st shift

Experience:

  • Behavioral health: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (Required)
