Qualified Mental Health Specialist

As a QMHS/QBHS at Cedar Oaks, you will play a vital role in delivering mental health and substance use disorder treatment services. You will work closely with clients, providing counseling, support, and facilitating recovery-focused activities. This role may include weekend shifts, offering flexibility for therapists seeking weekend hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual, group, or family therapy to clients with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders.
- Assist in patient assessments, treatment planning, and documentation.
- Support client engagement and relapse prevention strategies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of clinical interactions.
- Foster a supportive, non-judgmental environment to promote client recovery.
- Adhere to all confidentiality, ethical, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Valid QMHS or QBHS certification/license in Ohio.
- Experience working with substance use and mental health populations preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
- Passionate about supporting individuals in recovery.
Schedule & Compensation:
- Weekend shifts available, as well as potential weekday hours.
- Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience and credentials.
