Qualifications:

  • H.S. Diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred
    3 years experience in face-to-face customer service in the healthcare, family services, children's services, education, hospitality, or entertainment industries required

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates patient needs related to hospital and/ or clinic visits.
  • Identifies issues requiring staff education and clarification.
  • Investigates issues and makes recommendations for improvements.
  • Ensures that department and hospital practices are in line with policies.
  • Prepares reports on patient coordination for departments and committees.
  • Coordinates patient information databases.
  • Educates staff on department processes and departmental and hospital policies.
  • Evaluates processes and assists with the development of processes to improve department function.
