Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Litigator to join our real estate office. In this pivotal role, you will lead complex litigation cases.

Duties

  • Manage all phases of litigation from inception through resolution, including pleadings, discovery, motions, trial preparation, and settlement negotiations.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research utilizing tools such as Westlaw and LexisNexis to support case strategies and ensure compliance with current laws and regulations.
  • Draft precise legal documents including pleadings, briefs, memoranda, discovery requests and responses, and settlement agreements with clarity and professionalism.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school is not required but a plus.
  • Admission to the state bar or equivalent licensing authority is mandatory.
  • Proven experience in real estate litigation for minimum of 5 years.
  • Strong research skills with proficiency in Westlaw and LexisNexis platforms for comprehensive legal analysis.
  • Excellent writing skills demonstrated through clear drafting of pleadings and legal documents.
