Salary: $55,000 - $75,000 annually based on experience and qualification

Position Overview

We're seeking an experienced Case Manager to manage a caseload of 30-50 personal injury cases from inception through resolution. You'll work closely with attorneys, clients, and medical professionals in a fast-paced legal environment. Law school students with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

Case Management

• Manage assigned personal injury caseload from intake through settlement or trial
• Maintain regular client communication regarding case developments
• Coordinate medical appointments, examinations, and obtain medical records/bills
• Prepare case status reports and maintain organized case files
• Track case expenses and financial records

Legal Support

• Draft correspondence, demand letters, and legal documents under attorney supervision
• Prepare discovery responses and assist with document production
• Coordinate depositions, mediations, and court appearances
• Maintain case calendars and ensure deadline compliance
• Assist with trial preparation and settlement negotiations
• Communicate with insurance companies, medical providers, and opposing counsel

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of case management or paralegal experience in personal injury law
• Knowledge of personal injury litigation process and California court procedures
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management software
• Understanding of medical terminology and ability to review medical records
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Compassionate demeanor with injured clients and strong attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Clio, CasePeer, or similar case management software
• Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate
• Spanish language skills (preferred given our client demographics)
• Knowledge of California e-filing procedures
• Current law students with relevant legal experience welcome
