CLASSIFICATION MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must be eligible to receive Federal Work Study

Students must have a minimum of 2.5 cumulative GPA

Must be in good academic and conduct standing with the University of Florida

Willingness to make a commitment of 10 hours a week, for at least 2 consecutive semesters. Position requires working during Midterms and Finals.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Perform clerical duties including data entry, copying, faxing, receiving/distributing mail and other materials

Support chair, Administrative specialist, Academic assistant, Administrative support specialist, and Faculty members.

Assist Chairman and department with calendar scheduling

Assist visitors, staff, and faculty with questions or concerns

Support with overall cleanliness of the office, break room, and meeting rooms

Assist with seminar series and special occasion lunches set up, and seasonal/ holiday decoration

Assist with Procurement, and P-card travel request/ report

Other similar duties as directed by supervisor.

EXPECTED SALARY:

$14/hour

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be eligible to receive Federal Work Study

Students must have a minimum of 2.5 cumulative GPA

Must be in good academic and conduct standing with the University of Florida

Computer skills: Proficient in use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe and Microsoft Teams
