As an
Apprentice Technician
, you will work alongside experienced technicians to gain hands-on experience with low-voltage systems, including access control, video surveillance, intercom, and related technologies. You will play a key role in supporting project execution, ensuring quality installations, and contributing to overall team success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist lead and journeyman technicians with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of low-voltage security systems.
  • Learn and apply best practices for cabling, device terminations, testing, and system commissioning.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment on job sites.
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards at all times.
  • Take direction from senior team members while actively seeking opportunities to learn and improve.
  • Support project timelines by ensuring materials, tools, and equipment are properly managed.
  • Represent Stone Security with professionalism and integrity when interacting with customers, partners, and coworkers.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or coursework preferred.
  • Interest in electrical, low-voltage, or security system installation fields.
  • Strong work ethic with a commitment to personal and professional growth.
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work on ladders, lifts, and various site conditions.
