We're looking for an Intake Coordinator who is organized, compassionate, and dedicated to high-quality, client-centered care.

Summary of the Role -

The Intake Coordinator plays a key role in supporting ANEW's daily operations and client intake process. This position ensures that admissions run smoothly, housing stays full, and communication between staff, clients, and partners remains consistent and professional. You'll balance administrative precision with compassion—helping clients begin their recovery journey with dignity, clarity, and care.

What You'll Do -
  • Manage and track client referrals (phone, email, fax, and walkins).
  • Schedule and confirm intake appointments.
  • Maintain uptodate client lists for treatment groups and housing.
  • Complete admission and intake paperwork, including Comprehensive Assessments and Releases of Information.
  • Enter and update funding details in Procentive.
  • Support program operations with scheduling, communication, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with treatment teams to identify and advocate for client needs.
  • Build and maintain relationships with referral sources and community partners.
  • Ensure compliance with Minnesota DHS 245G standards.
  • Provide prompt, professional responses to clients, families, and referents.

What We're Looking For -

Licensure: LADC or ADC-T required.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemical Health or related field preferred.

Experience: Minimum 3 years in the chemical dependency field, including 2 years of direct client care.

  • Training or experience with cooccurring disorders and dually diagnosed clients.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; Procentive experience a plus.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
